In our Esprit de Corps: NLP Based Team Building Program, we emphasize the importance of Vulnerability among team thru activities, processing and discussions. i believe it is the key that unlocks the doors of authentic communication, harmony and teamwork.
But why is it hard for many to be vulnerable at work? To express what we really feel? To share what really think?
Perhaps, we built haven’t a strong foundation of connection with our teams yet, or maybe we are just too afraid to be thought differently, misunderstood or judged
But we have to see what’s in store for us when we choose to be vulnerable. It has many benefits for us and for our team.
When we choose to be true, we are released from our self made prison. We set ourselves free from stress, self-guilt and possible regret. You are the first to benefit from it.
Being direct and upfront doesn’t let problems or issues linger and transform into something bigger. We may think being vulnerable can cause conflicts but it really preserves what’s there and opens up the platform for immediate resolutions
It lets people know the why behind who you are which leads to mutual respect and intentional understanding. By also being vulnerable, you are able to communicate how you want to be treated and how you should treat out.

Building connection makes it easier for individuals to work together. When we establish comfort within our teams, we play our roles better, we learn and utilize each other’s strengths and weaknesses, we count on each other to perform most importantly, we like each other’s company
